In addition to our Academy Core curriculum, we offer a variety of courses focused on Arabic, Qur'an, and other specialized topics. These offerings are designed to help students deepen their understanding, develop practical skills, and continue their journey of seeking knowledge.

Immediately Applicable

These courses allow students to walk away with confidence as they apply the skills and knowledge learned when reading and understanding the Qur’an on their own. It stimulates their own spiritual journey and growth.

Fall 2026 Course Offerings:

Qur’an Recitation for Adults

  • Days/Times: Mondays and Wednesdays

    • Level 1: 6:00 - 7:00 PM CT

    • Level 2 and 3: 7:00 - 8:00 PM CT

  • Instructor: Various Instructors

  • Course Description: Students will strengthen their Qur’an recitation at their individual level, whether learning the letters, building reading fluency, improving correct recitation, or working on memorization.

Keys to Reflecting on the Qur’an

  • Days/Times: Tuesdays, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM CT

  • Instructors: Ustadha Khadeejah Bari

  • Course Description: This course is designed to bridge the gap between our hearts and the transformative power of the Qur’an. Over twelve weeks, we will uncover twelve essential keys that guide meaningful reflection on the word of Allah. Through practical tools, principles, and guidelines, students will learn to engage with the Qur’an deeply and allow its light to inspire reverence and change in their lives.

Journey Through Islamic History

  • Days/Times: Thursdays 7:00 - 8:00 PM CT

  • Instructor: Ustadha Sally Elhouseiney

  • Course Description: This course that takes students through key moments, people, and civilizations that shaped the Muslim world. Students will explore major events and lessons from Islamic history while developing a deeper appreciation for the legacy, challenges, and contributions of Muslims across generations.

Word-for-Word: Surah Yasin

  • Days/Times: Thursdays, 6:00 - 7:15 PM CT

  • Instructors: Ustadha Ayesha Baig and Ustadha Hayat Fulli

  • Course Description: Journey through Surah Yasin, often referred to as the “heart of the Qur’an.” In this course, students will study the surah word by word, explore its meanings and background, reflect on its powerful lessons, and work toward memorizing it with understanding and connection.
